yesterday there was a spacewalk outside the international space station - it was the first all-female spacewalk, but nasa didn't do that deliberately, it just shook out that way - and nasa livestreamed it, so i watched at work. i could watch and listen as two astronauts (american women!) and the person at mission control (also an american woman!) a couple nights ago i made a quiche and my bathroom still smells a little bit like sauteed onions.
